I graduated from Genesis Dental Assistant School in the Fall of 2018 which I highly recommend. It was 11 weeks on Saturday’s with reasonable tuition. The course gave me all the fundamentals I needed to get hired on with an office and move up in my career. With the knowledge of this school, I was able to become a Lead Traveling Surgical DA as well as a Lead Assistant for busy practice since graduating. The instructors are helpful and knowledgeable about the tricks of the trade. I really enjoyed the structure of the course by having class work in the morning and hands on in the afternoon. From passing instruments to taking FMX to be able to put on a rubber dam I felt like we were challenged to be the best we could be and proficient in them to graduate from the course. ~ bailey b

Such an amazing experience! I didn’t really know what I wanted to do and came across this school. Every instructor wants you there and are so helpful and work really hard to help you. They will stay there with you even if everyone else is gone just to make sure you get what you’re doing. With the small class it’s easier to learn and get extra tips from the instructors. Not only is everyone so nice but we also learn so much. They make everything easy to learn and the way they explain everything just makes so much sense. I am so glad I had the opportunity to go to this school and I would recommend it to anyone and everyone that is thinking about going! ~ maddi j

I decided that I wanted to do dental assistant school last minute and this program was the best! They are so helpful and you get hands on experience with everything rather than a ton of book work like a lot of other schools do. All of the instructors are amazing. I learned so much here and it is great because you are still able to work during the week. It is also very affordable compared to a lot of other schools. I graduated in June 2022 and I found a job before I even graduated! I have been working as a dental assistant since then and love it. This school changed my life and I would recommend it to anyone that is interested in dental assisting :) ~ Kayli H

Attending Genesis Dental Assistant School was the best decision for me. Not only were the instructors amazing, the knowledge that I gained and confidence in myself is something I never expected to get from attending dental assisting school. Having instructors that could share their personal experiences and challenges in the field, made the class fun and interesting and helped to give me the extra reassurance that this field is perfect for me. Everyone at Genesis Dental is kind, friendly, and patient and wanted nothing more than each student to succeed. A bonus for me was class size. I was drawn to the fact that the class size was limited, which is important in order to give the attention and time to each student. Having the opportunity to learn hands on and not just from pictures in a text book, lectures, or online, but actually working hands on, is an extra boost that I personally needed. ~ BryLeigh L

I have always loved going to the dentist, so at a young age, I knew that I wanted to be in the dental world. In high school I found this awesome dental assisting school! It worked out great for my schedule because it was 10 weeks on Saturdays and I was still able to attend school during the week. This school sets you up for a future in the dental world. To this day the instructor was the best teacher I have ever had. The classes were fun but also thought you everything you need to know when working in a dental/ortho office. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to be a dental assistant. Plus you leave the class with whitening trays!!! ~ Samantha P

When I graduated high school, I wasn’t so sure what I wanted to do next, until I came upon an ad for Genesis Assistant's schooling! They helped me plan out my next steps in life, explained everything that the school did/ went over and Payment options! helped me to find jobs, setting up interviews. They would also go over and beyond to make sure I understood everything in class, especially if I missed a day. They would go over the whole lesson with me, the next class. Genesis Dental assisting school was soooo much fun! I enjoyed attending and it was nice having it on Saturday, as it allowed me to be able to still work during the week. Nancy, Pang, Amber, and Megan were all so nice and did an amazing job teaching everything and making sure to go above and beyond to help us understand anything that didn't make sense to us and I wish you all the best. I definitely recommend this school as they really do teach you a lot of great information as well as getting to practice everyday things that you will need to know for your career. I recently just finished the course provided here! I have to say, the instructors were amazing! They were so kind and thoughtful. I never felt like I was asking the wrong questions, or that I was not qualified for any of the hands on activities that were taught. The school setting was very comfortable and I felt very welcome from the beginning. I love that the instructors were always willing to meet and talk you through any of the lectures, or hands on activities. I overall, had a great experience. I absolutely LOVED my time at Genesis and loved all the amazing instructors. Nancy is the most amazing and patient person. She took time with each student, to help us and teach us to be the best assistants. I loved how everything was hands on. We were able to work right in a dental office. I went here for my certification, this last spring. I had the best experience! The instructors were amazing! The head instructors of clinic and the lecture work at the University of Utah school of dentistry, they were all incredibly experienced because of it. They are truly invested in your success from staying late after clinical to allow extra help/practice, to helping you find jobs after graduation. I would recommend this course to anyone interested in dental assisting. I really enjoyed my experience here, and I already miss the instructors!!!! 5 stars all the way!!! ~ 987 w

I learned so much from attending Genesis Dental Assisting school. The instructors are amazing and they all want you to succeed. If you’re not understanding something or are having a hard time with a certain procedure, they will stay with you until you get it. They offer class on Saturdays which was so nice because i was able to still work during the week as well as after class on Saturdays. Genesis also helps with job placement and wants to help you find a job even before you are done with the course. I learned so much here and could not recommend it enough! ~ Jessi W

This is a wonderful school. I had previously gone to a different assisting school, and wanted to freshen up my assisting skills. Genesis dental Assisting school is by far superior to any other assisting school. While other schools focus on book work, Genesis dental actually has you doing hands on training. They taught me things I had never been taught before, and expanded my assisting skills well beyond what they were. This was the best move I could’ve made for my profession. Attending Genesis Dental assisting school was one of the best decisions I could’ve made. It allowed me to receive the needed credentials to forward my career. The program is so detailed allowing me to understand the concepts of assisting needed but not overwhelming! The instructors were so great and so kind they were always there when I needed help which made me feel open and comfortable to ask any question. I took their classes back in 2010 and I loved it! Such a great environment, the instructors were incredibly knowledgeable, and you get a bunch of hands on experience, which is priceless when you start applying for jobs. After finishing these classes I applied for, and was offered assisting jobs at several great offices, and ultimately landed my dream job where I've been for 10 years. I started at genesis in September of this year and I really enjoyed it!I got really good hands on practice and each instructor was amazing!!I especially want to thank Nancy she is the most amazing teacher ever and always pushes you to succeed and do your best!I graduated November.I am so glad I chose this program at genesis because it is fast and Workable with your schedule.I highly recommend doing it here if you are interested in becoming a dental assistant.It is a very great learning experience!!!! ~ Safa A

Just wow! I was really nervous coming here For the class because there isn’t really a license for dental assisting in Utah so I was worried that doing this class was just experience and no credibility but I was totally wrong! You get certificates for CPR and a diploma for the school and a cute little graduation ceremony when you’re done. The instructors never let you get away if you still have questions, they will go over it with you until you can’t mess up. The lab work was so accurate to how things will look in a dental office even though it may not all go on at once. I was awarded a scholarship through their program which eased my mind on the school payments as well. The class is so so teeny which works well because you usually partner up and you’ll get to know your entire class and learn to feel comfortable working with other assistants because in the office you’ll work with the doctor of course but other assistants will be around you more. If I could do it again I would; because the education and process here is incredibly valuable in the dental world! ~ Simba Z

This course was so great and perfect for people with busy lives during the week. It was the perfect mix of textbook learning and hands on experience. The instructors are super helpful and never make you feel less than for asking questions. Not only do you learn about the field of dentistry, but also about interview techniques, HIPPA laws, and proper social techniques. Love love love this school! Not only do they teach for dental assisting but they go over other fields of dentistry as well. The instructors are super fun and sweet and will make sure you understand what you are doing and why. They take their time with their students and even stay after if you need the extra help/practice. Almost immediately I was able to get a job right after, If I had to choose all over again I would choose Genesis for sure! ~ Lessly
